Mobilenergy Project Scope: Unlocking Sustainable Energy Solutions
At Mobilenergy, our core competency lies in providing comprehensive technical and financial estimation services within the alternative energy sector. We specialize in engineering and designing innovative systems adept at converting solid waste and biomass into power and sustainable fuels. Our expertise spans project permitting, procurement, and evaluations of alternative energy systems, with a focus on mobile waste disposal solutions. Notably, we excel in engineering coal conversion and utilization systems, leveraging fluidization engineering and fluid particle-based processing technologies.
Project Highlights: Project Southern Pine
-
Investment Objectives
Each planned Project Suite requires $110,000,000 USD.
-
Sources of Revenue
Biorefineries will yield sustainable cellulosic middle distillate fuels and a suite of coproduct commodities, including ASTM ultralow sulfur #2 diesel, jet fuel (SAF), biochar, activated carbon, wood vinegar, and RIN credits.
-
Modular Project IRR
Anticipated at 35% without RIN Credits and 47% with RINs over a 30-year term.
-
Location:
Southeastern US Forests, intending to revitalize the forestry sector in the Southeast, historically a significant contributor to the region's industrial and agricultural employment.
-
Commercialized and Patented Technology
Our patented technology for biomass conversion to sustainable fuels is environmentally friendly and in commercial development, steering clear of the pollution consequences of traditional paper and fiberboard industries.
-
Market Impact
Creating a market for forestry resources stranded by mill closures, fostering employment and maintaining managed forests' health.
-
Employment Generation
Envisioning thousands of Direct and Indirect Full-Time Positions per biorefinery, stimulating employment across facility design, construction, operation, forestry operations, logistics, and product distribution.
Technology and Business Enterprise
Our technology and associated business enterprise yield a multi-faceted impact:
Production of Clean, Renewable Cellulosic Fuels
From sustainably cultivated biomass, offering attractive investment returns..
Elimination of Fossil Carbon Emissions
Mitigating carbon emissions from hydrocarbon fuel usage.
Support for Sustainable Industry
Creating agricultural and high-tech job opportunities.
Revitalization of Regions
Aiding regions impacted by mill closures and stranded forestry resources.
Potential Expansion and Land Restoration
Exploring opportunities in regions with rapid growth rate tree species and skilled labor force for feedstock cultivation and land restoration initiatives.
The depicted processes, like the one in Figure 1.1, are poised for wider adoption as the global economy shifts from fossil-based transportation fuels to entirely sustainable cellulosic alternatives derived from renewable biomass found abundantly in forests and farms. This global transition is supported by key US Government programs, notably the EPA Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS program) and the DOE SAF Grand Challenge, both aimed at propelling aviation turbine engines to operate solely on 100% sustainable fuels by 2050.
Communities that embrace cellulosic fuel production, especially those affected by paper mill closures, stand to gain substantial benefits from available incentives during this nationwide shift from predominantly fossil-based to predominantly cellulosic transportation fuels. These incentives not only drive adoption but also offer critical support to early adopters, enabling a smoother transition and a more sustainable future for all stakeholders involved.
In summary, Mobilenergy's technology and business model aim to revolutionize the energy sector, offering sustainable solutions while fostering economic growth and environmental stewardship.
